Device Assembly Capabilities
Our background in medical devices and other specialized industries allows Axcesor to be a multi-dimensional device assembler. Our current device assembly processes and capabilities include:
Wire Processing
Axcesor can prepare and process many types of wire and cable to meet your device’s required electrical connections.
Types of Wire
• Hook-up wire
• Multi-conductor/twisted pair
• Coaxial
• Triaxial cables
Wire Processes
• Stripping
• Tinning
• Soldering
• Crimping
Adhesive Bonding
Adhesive bonding rarely requires tooling, and with a good joint design and adhesive selection, strong and durable bonds can be achieved.
Our available adhesives include:
• UV cure cyanoacrylates
• Instant adhesives
• Chemical bonding
• Epoxy
Seal Integrity Testing
Some devices require perfect seals for moving and monitoring fluids. A strong seal may also be needed to keep damaging foreign fluids and particles out of a device. For example, a tubing assembly used with a vacuum pump should be vacuum and flow tested.
Our tests for ingress protection, hermetic, and/or watertight seals include pressure, vacuum, and flow tests.
Ultrasonic Welding
Bonding like small and medium-sized plastics using ultrasonic vibrations. The process is fast, efficient, precise, and repeatable, and tooling cost is relatively low. Strong bonds can be achieved, as can water-tight and hermetic seals.
Labeling and Packaging
We offer a multitude of labeling and packaging services to complement our manufacturing and device assembly services.
Clean Room Assembly
Device and cable assembly can be completed in our ISO Class 8 cleanroom. This allows critical products to be kept clean and/or for pre-sterilization packaging.
Inventory Management
By using collaborative supply chain management software, we assist customers in operating efficiently through device inventory management. This process includes maintaining a minimum inventory on hand while preparing and delivering parts quickly as needs arise.
